Message:It was a long time since I saw you Madde, but I want you to know that you
ment a lot to me. I saw you as a big sister when we were in the stable
together, I was 12 and you were 17, or maybe 18. You and Lotta taught me
and Jenny every teenage trick it was to know a that time... I helped you
with Kalmina, sometimes I "just" stood out with Kalmina for
four hours in
-25c, you wanted me to stay just a little bit longer, just so that Kalmina
would be even more happy in the stable later. There are som many positive,
funny stories to tell being around you. You even let me drive your car, we
went down a ditch - do you remember? Or when you let us se that horror
movie, it was so scary...

We havent seen eachother since you went abroad, but I want you to know -
that I have been thinking about you often, wondering how you been, missing
you, its to sad everything...

Många kramar till Lillian och Gunnar, det var fint att träffa er
idag, och roligt att ni kom ihåg den lilla stalltjejen Linda (som
inte är så lite längre...)

Message:I dag var vi många som tog ett sista farväl till vår Madde
i Gustav Vasa Kyrka i Stockholm. Begravningen var så fin, mycket
musik. Prästen sa många visa ord men det som jag tar med mig
mest är "det finns så många ord som inte blir
sagda". Varför skjuter man ofta upp saker och ting...
tänker det där finns det tid för senare! Ibland kan senare
vara för sent!
Hittade gamla brev från Madde för ett par dagar sedan, minnena
blev mer tydliga. Man hade roligt tillsammans med henne. Alltid.
Något gott har det här sorgliga fört med sig - gamla
stallgänget från Östermalms Ridskola har träffats ett
par gånger. Fantastiskt roligt.
Lillian och Gunnar - tänker på Er!
Vänligen

Message: As a summer performance worker, I unfortunately did not get to know
Madeleine very well but I admired her riding and her patience with even the
most difficult horses. She was always a smiling face around the barn- one
who will be greatly missed next year and in years to come. My deepest
sympathies to eveyone who knew her and whose lives she touched.

extend my deepest sympathy to her parents and family.
I worked together with Madeleine in Norway. She was a great friend and the
best riding instructor I have ever met.
I have many good memories of our time together, alot of fun, good talks and
late evenings after work when we trained our horses together. Kalmino was
only 3 years old, Madeleine had just started to ride him and I was so lucky
that I got to help her with him.
I learned so much from Madeleine and I will never forget her.

Message:How deeply saddened I was to learn about Madeleine. I was privileged to
have received some riding instruction from Madeleine, benefiting from her

needed two more very special, devoted animal lovers. May God's loving

Message:I met Madeleine the first day she arrived here to make Illinois her home.
From then on I would see her almost every morning until life took us in
different directions. I would always take time to watch her ride at least
one horse. I couldn't help but marvel at her dedication to every single
horse she rode. She was so lovely. But between rides there were plenty of
fun and laughs. Over the last 4 years we would see each other occasionally
at horse shows. This year at regionals I told her that I would be moving
out of state and hoped that I would see her again sometime. She assured me
we would at some horse show or another. Madeleine-that's going to be some
horse show!!!

Message:First of all I would like to thank everybody for your kind words and all
the thoughts you are sending to both familys. As Maddes cousin it still
feels strange what has happend.
Death is part of life but it seems we are never prepared enough for it when
it claims someone we know.
It's even harder when it is the result of an accident.
You would at least like to have some kind of warning.

It makes me happy to think about all the lives she has touched.
It is so much more I would like to say but tears are kind of getting in the
way.

Message:The world has lost one of the most amazing, loving, dedicated, and genuine
persons. Madi helped me start my relationship with my horse and “Camelote”
was as much her horse as he was mine. I was blessed to know Madi for over
four years and still remember all the fun trail rides we had from the long
talks to the gallops to waiting as Cam and Kalmino checked the traffic
coming on either side of the road. She introduced me to the world of horse
shows and was always there to help me get through my horse’s notoriously
playful displays in the arena ? She could always make me laugh when I was
upset. Riding and horses was in her blood and I cannot portray in words how
blessed I was to learn and grow as not only a rider but as a person under
her guidance and love. She was my friend, my pal, and part of my family. I
will miss you Madi. Thank you for your all in everything you touched. I
love you and send blessings to your family, friends, Katinka, and Kalmino.

Message:Although I only knew Madeleine for a summer it seemed like I have known her
much longer. It came as such a big shock when i heard the news. I know
she will always be in the lipizzan barn toasting to the horses and watching
over all who enter.
The memory I will never forget is standing in front of Sarissa and Mima's
stalls almost every morning with her, we would just scratch away at every
itchy spot on them. Then we would laugh until our belly hurt at Sarissa's
eye twitch! Or the time we stood outside Moonwalkers stall and just watched
him scratch his belly with his hoof, while his lip was curled as much as
physically possible. She truly loved the horses and the people at Tempel
Farms. It will not be the same without her! I am going to miss you!

Message:Madeleine, it is so hard for me to say goodbye. It was a great experience
for me and my horses to know you. Each day I say wyou or worked with you
was a joy. Your exceptional kindness to animals and people, your horses

animal saw it. I loved to see you ride-your horse, my horse, the Tempel
horses, in the performances, in horse shows... You rode with such harmony,
grace and beauty. But most of all, I loved to see you ride accross the
fields on Kalmino with Katinka by your side. Madeleine, you will always be
