OLD MILL CREEK -- The proposed Olympic-caliber makeover of Tempel Farms was given a dose of virtual reality Friday when Chicago boosters presented the International Olympic Committee with bid documents for the 2016 summer games.

Tempel Lipizzans to Participate in the Presidential Inaugural!
The Tempel Lipizzans are one of seven participating organizations from Illinois for President-elect Obama's Inaugural Parade. This will be the Lipizzans' fifth appearance in a Presidential Inaugural. Four horses will be featured in the parade.

Lipizzan wins USDF Region 2 Regional Championships!
Congratulations to Sarah Hippenstiel and Favory VII Andorella who won the Prix St. George Championships with a 65.333 percent. Sarah and Andorella also placed Third in the I-I Championships with a 64.417 percent!

Lilo Fore Clinic presented by IDCTA

FEI "I" Judge and renowned clinician Lilo Fore will be giving nine lessons a day during this 2-day clinic.
Two-day rider/horse cost is $350 for IDCTA members / $425 for non-members,
paid to IDCTA, and includes 2 – 45-minute lessons with Lilo and lunch on both days. Deadline for entries is April 15.
Pre-registration for auditing is $10/day for members and $15/day for nonmembers. Auditor pre-registration end April 22.

About Conrad Schumacher

Conrad Schumacher trained young riders for the USET from 1991 to 1995. He served as the exclusive trainer to the USDF Advanced Young Riders through 2004. Since 1997, he has trained European Championship, World Championship and Olympic riders.
In all, Schumacher’s students have won more than 40 international medals including Sven Rothenberger’s individual bronze medal at the 1996 Olympic Games. Mr. Schumacher has been the official trainer to the British World Equestrian Games and Olympic Games teams.
In 1999, he conducted the USDF National Dressage Symposium and was featured at the 2000 USDF Trainers Conferences.
