What are the cost of tickets?
Tickets purchased in advance online are $38/adult, and $25/child. Children under 4 get in free and do not need a physical ticket. VIP seats are $95 each. If the performance is not sold out General Admission Tickets are available at the door but cannot be guaranteed. Door prices are $43/adult, and $30/child. VIP Tickets are not available at the door, must be purchased at least one business day in advance. Can I purchase tickets over the phone? Yes, but there is a $5 fee added per ticket. Is there a senior or veteran or active military discount? We do not offer a senior or veteran or active military discount. We offer a group discount for a group of 15 and more for $30/adult. Please call the office at 847 244 5330. Where are the performance located? The performances take place at our farm located at 17000 Wadsworth Rd, Old Mill Creek, 60083, in Northern Illinois. Just an hour from Chicago or Milwaukee, Wi. To enter the farm use the east entrance marked with our sign. Once I enter the farm, where do I go? How long is the Presentation?
The Presentation is approximately 60 minutes long. When are the Presentations? The Presentations run from Mid-June through Mid-September on select Wednesdays, Saturdays, and Sundays. To view our full performance schedule click here. Can you recommend a place to stay? We work with three local hotels to provide you with the most affordable rates available: The Lotus Suites in Wadsworths, the Hampton Inn in Gurnee and The Wingate by Windham in Gurnee. Mention our name to receive a reduced rate. |
Seating and RestroomsAre the performances indoors?
The performances are outside unless it rains. If it rains the performances will be moved indoors. The indoor facility is not air conditioned. Is there shade outside? All seating areas are covered, however during certain times of the season some seats may be exposed to the sun. We recommend bringing sunscreen, a hat, and or sunglasses. What time should I arrive? We recommend arriving no later than 12:45 for a Matinee Performance or 5:45 for an Evening Performance. Our seating is first come, first serve so to get the best seats come early. Our gates open at 12:30 pm for Matinee Performances and 5:30 pm for Evening Performances. Is there a place to sit and eat my food? You can use our picnic tables to eat your food before and after the performances. The tables are located next to the ticket booth. We don't offer food onsite. What type of restroom facilities do you have? We have accessible portable restrooms. What type of seating do you provide? General admission tickets are bleacher seating. We have a designated section with benches and chairs for people with disability. VIP-Tickets are bench or chair seating. |
Amenities and AccessibilityIs the facility handicapped accessible?
Our facility is accessible for people with disability. A steady walking companion is recommended for those needing assistance with walking longer distances on unlevel ground. There is a reserved section for our guests with disability, in which seats with backs are available. We also have accessible restroom facilities and limited accessible parking. Roads are gravel so can be slower with some wheelchairs. Please note that our performances are generally outdoors and there is some uneven terrain to navigate. Do you have indoor restrooms? Our restroom facilities are portable toilets and located outside. Can I ride the horses? We do not offer horseback riding. Will I get a chance to see the horses in the stable? Yes. We open the stable for a self-guided tour through our stables after the performance. All of our trainers and riders will be on hand to answer any questions you might have. And several of our stallions will be opening their doors to meet you in person. May I bring my own food or beverages? We do not allow outside food or beverages. We do allow water in unmarked containers to be brought in, but otherwise we ask that you finish any outside food or beverage before you check in at the box office. Water can be purchased onsite. You can use the picnic tables before and after the performance for a picnic. The tables are located next to the ticket booth. |
