Bill ClementsHead Trainer
Bill Clements is an FEI level trainer and rider who has competed at all levels through Grand Prix and trained many horses to the Grand Prix level. He first found his way to the Tempel Lipizzans in 1994 when he started as a working student. In our riding school, he studied under Alf Athenstadt, George Williams and Karl Mikolka and was eventually promoted to Trainer. In 2003 Bill left to pursue his career in the private, training sector. Late in 2017, Bill started back part-time at the Tempel Lipizzans to assist with the development of the Airs-Above-the-Ground training. In 2018, Bill rejoined the Tempel Lipizzans training staff on a full-time basis and was promoted to Head Trainer. Bill has a gift for the teaching/training of both horses and riders. He's dedicated to and passionate about carrying on the legacy of Tempel Lipizzans mission into the future. |
Raul Roa VadilloTrainer
Raul Roa is a trainer from Badajoz, Spain. Raul joined the Tempel Lipizzans' training staff in the summer of 2018. He is qualified, by the Royal Andalusian School of Equestrian Art among others, and has worked in various horse riding centers in Spain and around the world. He has taught clinics and competed in Europe and in the US. A true highlight to Raul's education came in 2004 when he was selected as on of the four student riders of the Royal Andalusian School of Equestrian Art (REAAE), in Jerez de la Frontera (Cadiz) to take the training course held between 2004 and 2008. Raul is committed to the education of horses and riders and public presentation. He has also served as a breed ambassador by taking stallion Maestoso Alfaya II to dressage competition. In 2020, the pair scored in the top 16 nationwide for the Prix St. George and moved to Intermediare I with east in 2021. Nadalyn FirenzTrainer
Nadalyn Firenz joined the Tempel Lipizzans in 2015 as a working student. Over the past few years, she has been a dedicated student of the classical system, learning all steps and movements in saddle and from the ground. Nada boasts a season of performing the Long Rein for the public. Through her studies she had risen to the ranking of Assistant Trainer and was promoted to a Trainer in 2021. When there's time, she is also working to receive her individual medals with the USDF; with a bronze and silver, she is currently working toward her gold. |
