WORKING STUDENT PROGRAM
The Tempel Lipizzans offers a unique opportunity for students interested in working in the equestrian field as a dressage trainer or stable manager of a performance stable. The program is designed to educate students in classical dressage training as well as the high standards of horse care that go along with the management of all equine athletes. The program has levels of promotion based on the skill, ambition and success of each student. They are classified as Working Student, Rider and Assistant Trainer. The program is designed to educate the student in exchange for his or her work supporting trainers and helping to manage the stable and individual horse care.

- Foundational reading requirements to give each student the cultural capital required to further their knowledge of the field.
- Daily riding lessons from a Trainer on Lipizzan horses at all levels of training from green to FEI levels.

Current Position Available
Summary:
A dressage rider (confirmed at least 2nd level) looking to work in the equestrian field. Motivated, ambitious, team player and willing to work hard. Student has opportunity for daily lessons on Lipizzans at all different levels from highly experienced trainers. They also learn about management of a performance stable, from budgeting to handling vendors to caring for sick or injured horses. We have housing on the property and can usually accommodate a student's horse. They receive a monthly stipend and will ride in summer performances.
