Jessica Starck
Jessica brings decades of riding and teaching experience to her work. She has a very wide background of experience. Growing up she rode in many disciplines from western to vaulting. In 1996 she was a member of the St. James Pony Club. Eventually, Jessica found dressage through eventing. Through her years of competing she has won her USDF gold individual medal in addition to her USDF gold freestyle bar. She trains horses from their initial backing all the way through the FEI levels including work in hand. In the fall of 2014 Jessica began working at the Tempel Lipizzans after she fell in love with a client’s Lipizzaner mare. Jessica continues to strive for excellence and readily shares her experience with her students and colleagues. |
Emily Riccio-Robbins
Emily has over ten years of teaching and training experience under her belt. She grew up riding and competing in the 4-H world in English and Western pleasure, barrels, equitation, and showmanship. In college she expanded her experience delving into jumping and dressage. After taking some lessons from local dressage trainers she found a particularly strong connection to this discipline and starting training in dressage almost exclusively. She competed in her first competition in 2011 and from there she decided to devote her career to dressage. In 2012 she began as a Working Student with the Tempel Lipizzans and quickly moved up to become an Assistant Trainer and at the beginning of 2015 she became the Program Coordinator. Throughout her time at the Tempel Lippizans she has continued to teach and compete in addition to the daily training and summer performances which the Tempel Lipizzans is known for. Emily’s teaching strength lies in her ability to make complex riding concepts easy to understand and fun to ride. |
